That’s utter rubbish. Simply not true whether you’re talking about common-law marriage or a common law legal system. With respect to the former, a number of states in the US legally recognize common law marriages, as well as Canada, Scotland, and Australia.

  2. Alana Says:

No, it’s that American culture is very independent and there is nothing implicitly bad about that but in other cultures like China, or Latin America culture is more communal. Communism will not work in an individualistic society and reacting reflexively to the negative connotations the word implies is a Pavlovian response. Communism isn’t necessarily bad (totalitarianism is) but it has worked in societies.People see the word Communism and they don’t even know what it means. They think of the KGB and planned economies and there are varieties of it but bluntly it means community sanctioned decisions. Of course this requires people to take initiate and that is too much work.

From YouTube:Does he say ‘god please don’t kill me’ at the end of that?

  4. Willoughby Says:

Step 2 is to eliminate marriage, or rename domestic partnerships marriage. I’d rather partnerships didn’t require government sanction, but the second best situations to have all partnerships be made equal.

  5. Cymone Says:

This sounds like common law. At least, that’s what we call it in Canada. I thought it already existed in the states. Or is this something else?

  6. Gertrude Says:

    Try $9.50. Welcome to Norway.

  7. Reanna Says:

I’m guessing he cried on the first win too. ( Dugg for most accurate reenactment ever. )

  8. Dom Says:

It’s $3.15 here. (Dallas suburb.) It cost me $32 to fill up my car the other day. When I first got my car (’02), it costs me $16.

  9. Kacey Says:

    LOL, GOOD ONE BILLY-BOB!

  10. Madelina Says:

This kinda sounds like the first step towards communal communism which isn’t anything bad despite knee-jerk American reactions. The problem is governments are very inefficient, but communism isn’t necessarily bad if the society is capable of this socialism. It’s not bad, it just requires that people don’t be so self centered.

  11. Racquel Says:

and the Oscar for the best supporting role to an reenactment goes to…. the woman who sold him the ticket

  12. Jericho Says:

  13. Caitlyn Says:
