Sharpton, slain groom's fiancée, others arrested

bell protest sean

The civil rights leader is seeking a federal civil rights probe into Bell’s shooting outside a Queens nightclub. The case raised questions about police use of deadly force in minority neighborhoods.
Sharpton had promised recently to “close this city down” with civil disobedience.
Bell was black, as are his friends Benefield and Guzman; the three officers acquitted in the case are Hispanic, black and white.
U.S. attorney spokesman Robert Nardoza said the case was under review, but he declined to comment further.

Agree with pilto, Most if not all of crimes solved etc, are done when there is a FINE to be collected or property that can be seized. We pay their salaries and expenses with our taxes, which the use 90% of the time to try to fleece us out of more money. The other idiotic thing about 911 is that if you call and say Someone is breaking into my house, the morons expect you to carry on a conversation with them, while you would obviously be trying to hide and be quite..

Or in Chicago, eating foie gras.

  3. Deforest Says:

Do you think that Israelis dance and celebrate the deaths of Palestinians students? And do you think it is wrong to fight back against terrorists attacks like this one?

There seems to be some serious problems with 911 these days….

I am aware there is a lot of hatred going on here. Israel and the Palestinians are in a zero-sum game where one side can only gain when the other side loses (in this case land or deaths.) I am confident that Israel will kill many more civilians in its retaliation for this attack (as it usually does, its a great tactic for keeping up the hate) than where killed by the Palestinian terrorists here.

In your repeated comments you forgot to mention the celebrations in Gaza at the Israeli deaths.

  8. Clinton Says:

you have to wonder what would make some one do this to their own family

No money to be made on a call like that. Too busy writing tickets for seat belts and arresting people for smoking a joint.

Nobody eats foie gras in Chicago anymore.

This is a tragedy. And it will serve as a good justification to kill a bunch more Palestinians who will then feel it is justified to kill Israelis.Revenge makes the whole world blind. It sort of sucks that the Palestinians nor the Israelis have realized this.It would be great if both groups discarded their desires for ethnically exclusive states. A binational solution to the Israel-Palestine problem where both groups had equal rights and freedoms would be so much better than each party trying to take land from the other. My favorite essay about a long-term potential solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict:Israel: The Alternative
