Tolerance of (and overt desire for) Christian theocracy is exactly what has caused this.If you dont want muslim schools like this (and worse) than you cannot advocate for tolerance of Christian garbage either. The muslims arent stupid, they’re going to enjoy (and exploit) all the “tolerance” that christians enjoy. The solution: No more tolerance of “religion” as if it is special opinion.Enjoy your right to free speech, your right to assembly and free conscience, but collected together, calling opinion a “religion” should not earn you special rights.Start with the tax advantages for churches.

Just listened to the audio version of the same thing on NYTimes. Frankly, I feel bad for Larry Craig. Insufferable hypocrite? Maybe so. But what happened to him was unjust, independent of his apparent personal hypocrisy.Consider the incredible innocuousness of his actions. What he did — touch feet wave his hand under a bathroom stall to someone he thought was consenting — was a thoughtcrime given away by a non-assaultive gesture. It endangered nobody. Creepy, maybe, but it just horrifies me that we have law enforcement personnel spending their time ferreting-out, interrogating, and humiliating closeted gay people. What is the threat to the non-consenting, disinterested public? This guy wasn’t cruising for unattended children. He seems to have been looking for like-minded, consenting gay men. Who is to say they wouldn’t have exchanged phone numbers? On one hand, I don’t want to think the guy in the stall next to me might be making a pass. But know what’s creepier? Thinking that the guy in the stall next to me is a cop waiting for me to make a pass. Now that’s messed up.Is there no crime in Minnesota?

You know, I think this whole story is ridiculous. I’m disturbed that our government is paying money to have police sit in bathrooms to entrap gay men.By the way, how long do you have to sit there waiting for a man to proposition you in your particular stall? I mean, I’ve never had anything like that happen to me.

When they read you your rights shut up. Don’t think you’ll persuade a cop to unarrest you. When you hear the Miranda rights you know that the cop is arresting you so he’s no longer worth talking to. “If you’re explaining, you’re losing.”

Even after reading In an attempt to report about the new findings from the Department of Education, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS went to TiZA. While on school grounds, our crew was attacked by school officials. Our photographer was injured while wrestling with the two men over the camera. Our photographer was examined by paramedics and suffered minor injuries.it still sounds exaggerated.
