Easter fun at Eden Gardens begins at noon
The Friends of Eden Gardens, a citizen support organization of the Florida Park Service for Eden Gardens State Park, is sponsoring Easter at Eden on March 23, noon - 3 p.m. at the park.
This is the 8th year the Friends of Eden have sponsored Easter at Eden. Families in the community are encouraged to bring a picnic, kick back and listen to bluegrass music while the kids have fun.
Music features Jeremiah Campbell and the WaCo Ramblers, and the Easter Bunny arrives at 12:30 p.m. Volunteers to help with the egg hunt are always appreciated. Local children may hunt in the following age brackets:
• Ages 9 and up, 1:45 p.m.
Overflow parking will be at Bay Elementary School. Admission to the park is $3 per vehicle, $1 for bikes and pedestrians.
Eden Gardens State Park is located in historic Point Washington, off U.S. Highway 98 on County Road 395N.
