Finally the payoff for listening to KIIS in the morning…today Ry interviewed the two Davids, as well as Nigel, stage manager Debbie and vocal coach Byrd. Among the nuggets: DC said he felt like a big brother to Little David and was proud watching him perform last night even though "he was doing better than me." And he does call him Archey. Nigel informed that the two Davids had been scheduled to sing some dusty ballad as their duet, but it didn't sound very good so DC suggested "Hero" from Spiderman. Byrd mentioned that she saw everyone at their worst, and she had to scrape each of the contestants off the ceiling at one point or another during the season. Her favorite Cookism was, "Byrd, my head is too full." The Fetus didn't say much, but I did read in an article that he thought the judges were too hard on Cookie, which was sweet. Trying to practice being a gracious winner. Nigel also announced they were going to have a surprise guest…"the biggest star in the world RIGHT now." And then he added, "when I say that everyone assumes music." So, not music? Who would that be? Harrison Ford? DC says, "David Archuleta!" And Nigel agrees. Prescient, or red herring? Let's find out, shall we?
THIS…is the season finale! The two Davids are dressed in white and standing facing each other while Ry reads the intro. Wait…this looks familiar… "When we're together there's this feeling inside…when I'm f'ing you Ben Affleck I feel like I'm alive…they can't stop us…. " At least Ryan looks right at home as he steps between them. Hold on…snacking on … don't laugh … poptarts. Literally the only edible item in my house at the moment. Well I guess that's debatable. Anyway…

Constance Towers played roving – not to mention, ravishing – reporter for yours truly again this past week when I was suddenly called out of town. So I asked Connie to pinch-hit for me at a major event in the glamour capitol of the world: The unveiling of soap luminary Kate Linder’s (Esther Valentine, “The Young And the Restless”) star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 10.
Celebrating her anniversary (26 consecutive years as a cast member of the number one rated show in the Daytime Nielsen Ratings) that very week, Kate is so deserving of this honor. She is also to be applauded for her charity work (feeding the poor and homeless, for example) and serving as celebrity spokesperson for The ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). She is to be applauded as well for her entertainment-industry experiences as board member for AFTRA and TV Cares and being elected for a second term as Governor of the Daytime Programming Peer Group for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Late in the morning of Kate’s big day, Connie Towers and her singing discovery, romantic crooner David Johnson, synchronized watches at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Tinseltown. “I met David outside the hotel entrance, and we walked over to the star site across the street together,” Connie related. “Kate’s star is next to Eric Braeden’s star, which was kind of appropriate. [“Y&R” cast mate Braeden plays Victor Newman on the show.] There was a huge mob waiting, and I was taken into the VIP section. I went in with Mark Teschner, who does the casting for ‘GH.’”
“What an event it was,” Connie raved, recalling the exciting sidewalk festivities. “Kate wore a great Navy pants suit with white cuffs and collar. She looked fabulous. ‘Every inch a star,’ as they say. She paid great tribute to the Bell family for her career and dedicated the star to Bill Bell [the late co-creator/head writer of “Y&R” and “B&B”] and Johnny Grant [the late honorary mayor of Hollywood].”

The Disney girls have already had their share of leaked photos in the last year. From Miley Cyrus of the hit show and tour Hannah Montana to High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, there have been a bunch of leaked photos that have shown a lot of skin of the young stars. At least Hudgens was eighteen years old when she was made a search engine queen by stripping down to nothing in a full frontal photo that was meant for her boyfriend Zac Efron.
It was a bit of an overblown scandal as the photo was tasteful. It was just Vanessa in what appeared to be her bedroom, and the first leaked report that emerged from the scandal claimed that she snapped the photo herself with a digital camera and it somehow made its way online.

After all of that finally settled down, Vanessa survived and her career is fine. But just a few months later some new racy photos leaked of just fifteen year old Miley in just her underwear. And this was after a series of other racy photos had leaked of Miley playing around with another young girl.
Now Mandy Jiroux, who is Miley Ray Cyrus’ best friend and stars with her on the Miley and Mandy Show, has taken sexy pictures of herself and those pictures are online as well. How careful should these girls be when they are out together or in private and taking photos? They have a lot of young girls that look up to them, where should they draw the line? Any photo they snap may wind up online.Do they owe it to their fans to avoid the MySpace type photos altogether and keep it clean? You be the judge.
